Dear all, it's been long since I've posted.
I was wondering if I could obtain more knowledge about my childhood Indesit washing machines range. This basically includes all models starting with "WI", including "WIA", "WIB", "WIN", "WIL", "WIE", "WIXL", "WISL", "WISN", etc. Many of them have Time 4 You programmes, and apparently are known as EVOII, by technicians.
1. First of all, when did they start being manufactured and until when?
2. What did (EX), (UK), (EU), (IT), etc refer to? The location of sale/production?
3. The model numbers normally have 3 digits. What could the last one mean? The first 1 or first 2 definitely refer to the spin speed of the machine.
4. I noted that most models I found videos of do multiple spin bursts in the first inter-spin (after the main wash), but I clearly remember that our WIL125 never did so. The WIXXL 146 I suppose does a different rhythm, because it is made by Hotpoint.
4. I have noted that some models have an oval back cover to access the pulley, etc, but others have an octagon one (like the WIL125). Could that be a clue too?
I would really appreciate any information, even anything besides these that I posted. Even pictures.
Thanks
