Info. for Whirlpool 7M GHW 9999 PP and 7M GGW 9999 PP

Hi all,
I am purchasing a Whirlpool Duet pair for our home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A local friend is helping with the purchase through reputable local appliance vendors. They have ordered a Duet Washer model 7M GHW 9999 PP and Gas Dryer 7M GGW 9999 PP for me. They claim that this is as TOL as they can get.

Does anyone have any information or documentation about these models? I have e-mailed and called Whirlpool in Mexico. Although they were very nice over the phone, there has been no follow-up after two weeks. I figure that this forum is better equipped than any to help me learn more.

Also, does anyone know where one can purchase Fresh Start laundry detergent near Oakland, CA. Long's Drugs has discontinued selling it. The Miele is going to be very unhappy.

John, they're the blue TOL. Go toi the Whirlpool web site. Lower right hand corner you'll see a drop down box for corporate info. Click on other countries and look for Mexico in the Americas category and go from there.

Yes, I have been to the Mexico link on the Whirlpool website. I do not find this model number (I do see the blue ...9999 model), and I am told that the model I am ordering is white. I also wonder whether if what I am ordering is the latest model.
