Info Needed on Kenmore Washer & Dryer

Would like to get some info on these. Have not seen a set like this before. Thinking about getting them. They started out for $350. They now have them listed for $175. I'm thinking a $100 would be the price I would offer. Thanks in advance for any info.

These are a set of what I believe are 1973/74 model 600s. My aunt had a washer like this, and hers was a standard capacity with the gold straight vane agitator. Somehow, I am thinking this version may be a large capacity, and if so would have the Penta Vane agitator. Interesting looking set.

Those indeed are 1974 Kenmore 500 series machines.

Never saw one before in Coppertone - I'd say rather rare in that color.

They definitely are large capacity, Penta-Vane, 4-cycle, 2-speed, self-cleaning filter. Nice mid-line models. There was only one more set, a 1975 standard capacity pair, which used that console styling.

The more I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen a plastic top pair from any year in Coppertone. Kewl!
