Well, it was made by Seeger, which was purchased by Whirlpool Corp. in the mid 50's. At that time, the company became Whirlpool-Seeger for a couple years. So your unit likely was made prior to mid 1955.

I am thinking that, that is a vintage Coldspot dehumidifier from the late 50's maybe.

Very cool, we have one of these that is maybe a year or so newer, yours is probably about 1953, it as built before Whirlpool bought Seeger refrigeration.
This uses a Seeger designed and built rotary compressor, does yours still work ?

Which means it has a leak, the leak might be fixable for someone skilled at fixing refrigeration systems, but this appliance is only worth what someone wants to pay for it, I would estimate $0-50 would be the range you might get with most offers closer to $0.

I can fix it..I'm a automotive mechanic so brazing and soldering isn't a problem.

Coldspot Air-Drier
Hi Aaron, You inspired me to drag out the one we have, I got this one at an estate sale 8 or 9 years ago, my partner at the time owned an auto body shop and he painted the case one day while he was painting a Toyota.
I pulled it out and put a new cord on it and it fired right up and started cooling the evaporator and collecting water.
I also pulled out an old Frigidaire unit and it worked as well.
