Well, as requested by Robert and a few others, here are some pics of the inner workings of the machine. This pic shows the unusual square outer tub plus the reservoir for the rinse conditioner and bleach dispenser.

Cheers
Leon

Rinse & Bleach Dispensers

From what i can ascertain, the rinse and bleach are poured into the reservoir and at certain times during the cycle, they are automatically released into the "outer" tub to be pumped back into the inner tub through the lint filter.

R & B. Rhythm and Blues?

At a quick glance of this thread I can not tell what the subject machine looks like, control panel or tub/agitator.

Would it be permissible to request a pic of those parts of this machine here?

Thank you kindly. Awesome pics, BTW. Much appreciated.

Your patiensce is appreciated. Thank you for holding. Your c

Coffees yet??

NOPE. And apparently when I did my hair last night I got a case of peroxide poisining. OY VEY. Let's jsut say it's part of my charm FEH!

I guess this site is unlike a shower where you start from top to bottom. When reading threads sometimes one has to go from the bottom up!

GARCON, un cafe au lait s'il vous plait!

THAT IS A GAWGEOUS MACHINE! DROOL!

That is too cool - so very Beam-ish! The configuration is very different, that big spring around the bearing housing the in the center is interesting.

Is there a diverter valve for the pump or maybe another pump that runs the lint filter recirculation?

So very cool - thanks for the pics!!

Thanks Leon for the very cool pictures!

Well this is 100% Beam, but the spring around the Bearing housing as well as the mechanism supports are very Beam/Hotpoint style.

Notice the wiring for the water heater, oh I love water heaters in washers.

Robert do you mean the

wires going up to the bottom of the tub to the red thingys??

It heats the stored water for the next wash?? WOW!

What a complex mechanism, does that torque converter whole outer casing spin with the pulley to the basket drive pulley??
Like in Roberts movie?
So that the motor shaft would be keyed to the torque converter turbine inside??

Such a smart idea using a fluid torque converter.

Just think today

you could get rid of all of that underneath and just have a flat motor there electronically driven. You would gain alot of space and could add another 6 inches and slap on a second storage tub to that tub and collect the rinse water for the next rinse as well.

heck you wouldn't need water for a week just detergent!
