As soon as it uploads. It's nothing fancy yet, because I had to use my iPhone 6S vacuum sealed in a FoodSaver bag, so positioning is horribly tricky, as is lighting. Even with two LED flashlights it was just so dark that I had to do a little finessing.

Anyhow, I tried to move around enough to see both arms, and towards the end, faced it toward the door to catch a glimpse of the silverware spray. I must say, as impressed as I've been so far just from the performance of the thing, and the fact that I have YET to bring out a dish or pull out the filter to find a speck, I'm even MORE impressed by seeing the amount of water this thing pushes around. I guess size really doesn't matter with motors here in the modern world after all.

Here's the video. So far it's only available up to 480p, so it's still rendering in the back ground up to 1080p, so that may take a little while longer.

Very impressive.  I am glad that you are enjoying your new Whirlpool Dishwasher.

I was at Home Depot tonight and looked at this model.  Seems very well built!

I really liked seeing how the jet sequences were changing on the bottom.

I'd like to get a much better video when I get the chance, at an angle similar to the one I have of the PowerClean in action. Maybe I'll find a sale on a nice GoPro soon.

I'm amazed at the amount of force from the arms, especially the upper. I wasn't expecting to see that much pressure and rotation. Every video I've seen of KitchenAids and Kenmores of the same design had especially wimpy upper arm action, so that's what I was expecting here. Evidentially they've made some improvements. And that little upper spinner packs a punch too. You could hear it whopping water against the surface of the phone when it was laying with the camera facing straight down.

I was hoping you would do this because I always wanted to see what the inside of the machine looked like in operation, and it looks like good action going on. I imagine when it heats the water to really hot, along with good detergent and that wash action, that most everything thrown at it will come clean.

Andrew, what is the max amount of water this dishwasher uses by chance? I'm talking if you chose the absolute most intense cycles and options. I'm assuming you know. Thanks

When you select the Turbo Jet Wash... Does the Machine cycle those jets longer than that little burst when changing from Lower Wash Arm to Upper Wash Arm ?

@ Mark - I'm actually not sure. I know the manual states that the max for any cycle is 7.4 gallons. The minimum for Normal is 2.4 and Sensor is 3.8, a little odd since they push for you to use Sensor as the "optimal, best results, etc." cycle in the manual and on the door stickers. But regardless, I don't think it has ever used near that much for a Normal-no options cycle. I'd say probably more in the 3-4 gallon range, for the amount of soil it usually gets, i.e., sauces and goop slathered on and maybe a sprinkle of rice or oatmeal, but nothing burned or cooked on (though it did rock the hell out of that peanut butter test load on just Normal/Hi Temp >) I have yet to use the Heavy cycle or pile on the options, so I'll have to update that soon!

@ Eddie - Are you referring to the silverware bar on the top rack? There actually isn't an option at all for it. Upon listening closely, you can hear it periodically switch to the bar and just spray for 3 or 4 minutes, mainly in the main wash and final rinse. I'd imagine that the few seconds it sprays when the valve is passing from lower to upper is enough during the prewashes. Now, the TurboZone at the back, it does have an option, which I believe adds 15-20 minutes (?), but I think that also forces a thermal hold and possibly and extra prewash or so, in addition to adding time to run the TZ exclusively for a bit.
