The fun never stops with this machine. I put the camera inside it while running and here are the results.
You can see how FORCEFUL this machine is, compared to others.

Anything with a GE pump surely is a HURRICANE IN A BOX!

NOTE: Youtube always loses my vid. quality, so if you want the original...i guess i can email it.

I always thought that Mason Williams' Classical Gas was good dishwasher music. The part where the trumpets interrupt the strings and then the stong base line takes over is so evocative of the reversed pump getting up a head of pressure at the start of the drain.

Oh how wonderful it would have been to have a VCR back then to record his performance and be able to slow it enough to recognize more than the Mona Lisa in all of those great paintings that flashed by at some insane number per second.
Maybe we could try that with pictures of appliances.

John, you are a first class impresario. Thank you for bringing us that great show. It was absolutely on a par with the nightly show at Longwood Gardens and your production was getting dishes washed. The reverse of the direction in the wash arm that I think I saw, was that a different part of the cycle or does it reverse to scrub deep into corners like Windex?

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Tom

VERY cool! You know, the spray pattern of the tower looks EXACTLY like your modification to the previous Frigidaire. Interesting that it is an actual design; this time the pump is more than strong enough to spray it at full force!

thanks so much for the kind words!

no there's no reversing action. you may be thinking of the merging of two separate shots. the wash arm spins in a clockwise direction like any other machine.

LOL, yes, it does. when i modified the frigidaire tower, i WAS emulating a GE tower. It has the best design out there when it comes to center towers. full coverage.

it is QUITE powerful, and does get everything pretty clean. it would seriously be a first rate wash system if it had some kind of soil management other than just a spinning blade in the pump.

Hi! Great video! I wonder what that fun tube that rises from the back is...it seems it gets up and down, some sort of a sleeve...
