Scored a couple of these in Norristown a few years back when I was negotiating to buy a wooden cabinet belt-drive Frigidaire refrigerator from the early 1920's... "Prescribed for..." interesting! Unfortunately, the shed roof had leaked down the back of the fridge for 10 years or so, and rotted it, so I'm going to have to fabricate an entire cabinet to support the oak face, which survived more or less intact. Still, there's probably only a handful left in the world...

I remember that bucket sitting beside our waterfall Kenmore in the basement of our house in Illinois in 1954. All came about when the industry was trying to develop non-sudsing surfactants for dishwasher detergents and it was the not quite there yet point.
