Interesting cookware set

I have no idea if this is actually vintage cookware or if it's something from the Home Shopping Network. It is kind of interesting and looks to be in very decent shape. Actually 9 pieces if you count the lids. In the Inland Empire not far from me. $60

of Jackson Pollack paintings..but these are new old stock…never used. They don't look like serious cookware, but seriously fun, otherwise.

I have this set...

They match my Flair really well, but have been told by people who "really" cook, that they are not the best quality.

Definately vintage..

Its porcelain on steel, so you better use LOW heat because it will burn water!..Pretty though...

I just saw this exact same set at GW today.  The pieces were scattered about and priced separately.  The only things missing were the large blue pot and the lid for the small skillet, which might be interchangeable with the blue and yellow pots.  I stacked them all together in hopes someone will take the whole set.

 

This cookware is heavier than one might expect, and the GW stuff was in decent shape.  I only looked at the price of the smaller blue pot, which was $7.99.  Estimating based on that, I'd say all GW pieces could be had for quite a bit less than the $60 asking price for the CL set.

Well, if they kept it wrapped up, they used it in a manner that would be satisfactory. It is best as a museum exhibit or set decoration, because as Hans said these pans will burn water and they are hell to clean. I think this cookware is made by NESCO which stood for National Enameling and Stamping Company. Yes, they were the same people that made the roaster ovens and the "roasteretts" and the electric casseroles of various sizes.

I think that this cookware used to be offered in the saving stamp catalogs like S&H and Top Value.

I couldn't find identifying marks on any of the pieces. 

 

Promotional or redemption center items is likely the correct assessment.

 

Best used as props considering the shortcomings mentioned above.
