Interesting Eureka JC Penny canister

Picked up this eureka from my favorite "$10 on all vacs" goodwill store. Found kirbys and all kinds of hoovers there.

This is an old (70s maybe?) Eureka Model 3565 vacuum. Never seen an eurkea like this in person. Its got the deluxe power nozzle and cord rewind that work great!

It sure is a nice vacuum. It sounds good, and fairly quiet. It is a bit dinged up on the plastic. The power switch is cracked in one corner, and its missing the other attachments, but every thing else works!

Kind of a neat vacuum. Im not much into eurekas after the 60s though.

Im going to give her the full tear down. She needs a bit of cleaning and a good thorough run of a magic eraser!

Also gotta smooth out the corner of the power nozzle that has come out.

I like the design of the power nozzle. To bring it to vacuuming position, one has to push down on the wands. Its a nice feature to keep the weight of the hose from making the wand collapse down.

My parents had the Eureka one in orange. Not very powerful, but last forever.
