Crusty, rusty and overpriced. What is that strange round thing to the right of the clock? Looks like some kind of oven indicator. I guess that weird thing in the drawer is for storing the meat probe. It certainly doesn't look like $500 worth to me. And it's way out there in the middle of the desert next to the Marine Base in 29 Palms.

The smoke and odor eliminator that fit over pans on the 8" element is missing. The little round metal cover protected the tube that had the electrical connections for the apparatus. That second round face on the right of the control panel, so reminiscent of an automobile dash, is for the meat thermometer read out.

Hans, Are you familiar with those round ladies' hats from the 50s with the round raised part in the center and the usually round wide brim that often turned down? The smoke eliminator was that shape and somewhere around 10 inches in diameter. It was aluminum. The conduit came out of the raised round part, went beyond the edge of the wide brim then turned down to form the straight pole part that went into the little hole usually covered by the flat disc.
