Advert shows an unusual Phillips washing machine one assumes is a top loading "H-Axis" washer.Would love to see an actual picture of the unit.

Assumes the unit is based on the "pony washers" long used in commercial laundries. This sort of unit would be great here in the States, but doubt if the cabinet would fit standard 24" width.

More about this machine

Hello,
This washing machine has a drum with alternating rotation.
On the front is the water level. Above on your right, the selector wash - drain - spin (it is not automatic) and on the left: button of filling and the heating button.

Merci Pour Tous Koalas

Just as one suspected a pretty much a home version of commercial top loading "H-Axis" washing machines. Many early and even modern industrial versions of pony washers weren't really automatic and were controlled as you stated above. Water level was determined by the little window up front.

Would love to see a picture of this unit, or one in action. Any guess as to the model number or numbers?

What's a "Pony Washer"?

Inquiring mind wishes to know... It looks like the window is just that-it seems too small to load clothes through. Maybe the "cabinet handle" on the front reveals the actual drum-opening? Qui sait?
