Thanks Sandy,  one of them from UK or USA is the same for me, well from UK of course shipping would be cheaper, it's also true british people does not like to offer Intl. shipping for appliances, ( that's my expoerience with british ebayers)  while indeed americans do happily, this  even if asked through the american ebay and initially  not offering international shipping option in the auction.
Then there is also the matter about the item cost, for example I've seen several  VTG Osterier blenders in Europe but most,  almost all of them had prices so high to be more expensive than buying one in USA plus shipping from there...
Infact this is what I did when I purchased my Osterizer Galaxy for $ 10.....and the prior one Cyclomatic for $8 which ended bad because my granma during one of her surprise visit decided to make a soup and plugged it with a US adaptor instead of the converter, so motor blown.
Voltage is not a problem, I do have several converters in my home, both full size bulky one  and  travel/portable  compact converters,  no bigger than a muliple outlet that transform up to 1800 watts.
So from UK or USA I will get the cheaper one I can find....
Someday I will get one for sure....

Here are some pics of my 50s (guess late 50s) Zerowatt.
Despite is nice looking (To me) , is not that nice at cleaning...suction is not of the best, it does have two buttons guess mean't for speeds, but pressing the second button looks like it just makes the motor not going on effort during vacuuming moquettes and such...
It's hard to tell how it does, but if I press it the motor stops "humming" while vacuuming carpets...I also notice a greater electricity absorbption once I press the button  as I can see a light drop on the bulbs...
Not sure if it is a damage of the motor or a sort of thing on purpose to protect motor from efforts made on putpose for carpet vacuuming, all I know is that suction power do remain the same....

Pretty strange....

Thank you for posting the pictures, I would put it as early 1960s rather than 1950s but that does not really matter.

The weird thing? This is for de-mothing crystals, a device that was very common at the time. I do not know what the crystals were made of, but you put them in the middle and screw the two parts together. Connect the hose to the blowing end of the cleaner and attach the device to the wand end. Put into a wardrobe or drawer and switch on for a period of time. It was also possible to get a sprayer attachment.

Whilst I can understand that you might want a Compact/Tristar there are very many interesting vacuum cleaners made in Europe in this period as well if you want a vintage cleaner

As for the one I would sell, basically not looking for anything more than the shipping costs, but you really should have attachments (actually just a hose, now I remember I think I have tools for it, but no power nozzle)

Thank you, who sold it to me said it was a model of the 50s so I aaumed late 50s,  also so said the auction, so I believed him as he was a collector and should have known, but I agree with you,  it looks more like a 60s style and if I didn't know from him  I'd have said 60s too,  but you cant clearly tell the difference from late 50s and early 60s.... then the label shows it was made in the factory of Milano, so I think it actually is a late 50s model and not 60s since in the 60s the factory actually moved to Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo).....

Oh so  is a thing for moth crystals? Naphtalene!  Who would have thought!

I still use moth balls  and crystals at times ( I buy them in USA because in Italy naphtalene is  idiotically now banned) ....but I think I would have never used  that feature inside my wardrobes.....maybe in the basement, garage  etc for insects etc.

Regarding your vacuum to be sold, sorry  I didn't understand, what it does miss? Hose and heads? Or just the power nozzle?
I don't really mind about the power nozzle, if there is well better so, otheriwise not a probelm.... but if miss the hose and heads I just hope I will find them...I could also use others from another one temporarily.
I'm interested in purcasing yours, hope we can make this deal.

You will find one or something else you like. I passed up one of the Electrolux's at the Goodwill - same one you have an eBay link to, Freddy. But it wasn't that beautiful blue- tan, instead. Wish you luck, anyways!

Freddy i will get you pictures of the Electrlux that I was going to sell because I got another Dyson if you are intrested we can work out a deal. I bought it at an estate sale but just like the dyson better. I am in no hurry as it is put up. Carl
