I really am not versed in Maytag model numbers but this looks like a pretty nice machine. Solid State with digital display? Maybe someone on the board may be interested in it.

Since I will be there this coming weekend,(thru the 8th of march)I was checking out the pickings in the area to upgrade my Mom's DU1055 WP Dishwasher. I hate the non adjusting top rack and want a Kenmore bottom rack that goes further into the door with the silverware basket on the side like the Kitchenaid Tall tubs.
besides, it is always good to have some spare racks hanging around!

Hey Steve

That looks like the MDB7100 I have.
BTW, I put the 18 back in. The people that had the Maytag before me used some kind of Lilac scented Drying Agent. I hate scented products and I could stand the stench my kitchen had. So I took it out 3 hours after I installed it. I like the machine very much though.

I'm going to look for another one.

Out with the new, In with the Old!

Ed,
So what did you find was the problem with the 18? Did you swap out timers and fix it?
Too bad about the "odor" in the MT. If it gets into the plastic, I guess it would take a really long time to disappear. Maybe one of those dishwasher cleaners can battle it and win the war!
