Only a slight Problem

First Water Test,,,

You know the machine should be pumping water after about 20 seconds into the fill, so I opened and latched the door and pressed in the safety to discover the water trickling in. So I tipped her back and took off the fill line and just as I suspected...Plugged Sediment Strainer

I drove up to Hull, Ma.

The woman wouldn't take more than $20 Bucks, she said you might not like the way it cleans dishes.She also said "You really need to prewash everything."
Now come Boys and Girls...We know the power these machines have. After I cleaned the line strainer and fired her up ..."Holy Crap" this machine will take the rust of a trailer hitch. She runs Perfect.

Ed, I should let my wife see the collection you have! She would stop hounding me about my obsession with K/A'S!
My collection pales in comparison to yours.

If you had posted this yesterday, I would have gotten you a whole load of spare parts. Passed a KDI-16 today and would have grabbed the pump for you. That was in good shape..actually the machine was but the racks were totally trashed. even had the wood panel trim kit. Damn! I knew I should have gone back!
Maybe it will still be there during the week and I will detour to check.
Got the washarm which was in great shape!
Machine looks great, man.. and one thing.. that is the hot air duct in the back..not an overflow.. I know he just got excited!

Nate, I was gonna say the same thing. Roger has the same model. Somewhere around here is a couple of pictures of me and BobLoading at the 2006 or 2007 Tuscon gathering. Mind you, it's all DISHES and glasses, no bowls or other such things. Bowls, pans, and such got resserved for the KD18 in Roger's kitchen, ya know, the one with MULTIPLE wash arms, one under each rack!!!, where I don't have to think about where I'm gonna put stuff, just shove it in on that 18.
