Introducing... the 1958 Cadillac!

I've been threatening this for years, but today I finally brought home a 1958 Cadillac 62 Series 4-door hardtop!  I wanted a 50s car with fins but since the damn Swedes bought all the forward-look models and the border is closed anyway, I was scouring the countryside in La Belle Province.  And I found this...  Wheee Heee!

Paul you're right about the Swedes...

they want Forward Look cars, have the $, and don't fool around.
I had my '58 Windsor 4 dr hardtop, a '58 FireSweep 4 dr hardtop, and '59 FireDome sedan for sale for a lengthy time, and after lots of USA tire-kickers and time wasters did nothing the Swedes were only serious buyers that came through in the end. They do some of the best restorations in the world, love the cars, and do what they say, so more power to them!

I had my '58 Windsor 4 dr hardtop, a '58 Firesweep 4 dr hardtop, and a '59 Firedome sedan for sale for a lengthy time, and after lots of stupid cheapskate USA tire-kickers wasted my time the Swedes were the truly serious buyers that came through. I did sell my '58 Firedome coupe to a good guy in AZ though and was glad to see it stay in the USA. The Swedes do some of the best restorations in the world, they love FL cars, and they do what they say they will do, so more power to them!

I had more fun about 10 years ago on July 4th in Oslo, Norway at the American Car Club's show. It was at a suburban office park and was absolutely enormous...everyone bundled up in their Gore-Tex and oblivious of the drizzle (which would have sent everyone at a similar show here shuffling away).
