Thanks everyone! It was not an easy restoration... But worth it. I do need a detergent cap for this machine, as this one is off of my 57 Unimatic. Anyone have an extra for sale? Let me know.
The spin speed is about 700 rpm on this machine, as it is not a Rapid-Dry transmition. But thats ok, I still LOVE it.
Robert, if you can recall, where did you find this machine in 1996? Was it working? What happened that it was "gutted"? Can you share the story with us? The cabinet and console sure are beautiful! I am glad the "shell" was saved all these years. Not too many of these around!
