HI Geoff and everyone. I am getting a free Commander tomorrow afternoon. Friends have had one tucked away in their basement for years, never to be seen. It needs a new cord though, are these still avaliable somewhere? It has a red adgitator, a red wringer release,and a red start knob. I was wondering how old this is? Geoff, if you have the time, would you please look up the serial number for me and tell me how old it is. Thanks in advance. Gary A203819c

My 1950 Speed Queen has no pump or even a drain hose. You have to position it over the floor drain, and pull out the drain knob and gravity takes over. I think it is actually faster this way rather than using a pump, and nothing to break down either.
