On the radio this evening, I heard something interesting. Should McSame and the secessionist be elected, their health insurance 'scheme' would have a fascinating consequence.
Her son would not be insured - Down's syndrome is one of the pre-existing conditions which insurers would not be required to accept.
Of course, every woman who is diagnosed with any of their sex-specific cancers would also lose her insurance and not be eligible for coverage, either.
Sounded serious, not made up.

HIPPA regulations state that pre-existing conditions are reduced or eliminated IF you already have had health insurance.
Having said that, I am completely unimpressed with both parties' approach to health care.

Flocked red wall paper
When we bought our first home in 1977, the master bedroom had gold wall paper with red flocking, alternating stripes on a couple of walls and floral on the others. Along with heavy black drapes. I was in no hurry to change it. I guess I just did not understand the gravity of the situation.

My late Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Barney had an all-electric double-wide that they purchased after years in a grim farmhouse.
Eleanor spared no expense when it came to decorating: She went to Montgomery Wards in Omaha, and bought big foufy drapes, tapestry printed furniture, overwrought shepherdess lamps, and a fabulous electric fireplace. At the time, I thought it was simply magnificent, and couldn't understand my mom's snickers.
Eleanor was a saint, and a dreamy cook, but her taste definitely ran towards that of a "Belle de jour".

But for some reason the "white hillbilly lady" isn't a "rock star" at the moment -for some reason she crawled back under a rock again. All her apprentices were canceled in the upcoming weeks, and the news media is not allowed to talk to her.
