I've noticed Walmart sells Farberware small appliances and cookware. I'm not sure I've seen appliances in other stores with that brand, but I have seen utensils at Ross and Marshalls with that name.

In the mid-late 2000s I remember Walmart sold GE small appliances, and they were only sold in their store. They looked to me to be rebrands of others. Such as I've seen Hamilton Beach waffle makers that look like my GE one.

Also some of the same GE appliances are sold with the Farberware name like the 2 burner cooktop. And I think some of the older GE branded ones looked just like Rival units.

So I'm thinking Walmart must have some deal with Farberware to use the name, but unlike when they did with GE, Farberware also sells in other stores.

None of these seem as nearly well made as true vintage Farberware convection ovens, etc.

Farberware

is a Chinese brand like many others today. Only marketing is domestic.
There are about 5 makers in China of cookware. One is Meyer, which I think makes Kitchen Aid. Not even Calphalon is made in Toledo Ohio anymore.

A few years back, All-Clad began sourcing many parts from Chinese factories but most of the higher-end pans are still made here.  Lids, bakeware, utensils, most A-C branded small electrics and the like are made overseas.

I believe some of the "As seen at the State Fair" brands of waterless cookware may be made in the US.
