San Francisco Bay-Area, 1996 (Orinda & Walnut Creek):

I remember my grandmother in Walnut Creek having a Rollo-out Westinghouse D/W in her apartment... She had a Chromolox Element Electric Cooktop & a Wall Oven w/ the controls below the oven cavity and even a single-door fridge--all also made by West-y!!!! --They were probably from the '50's or '60's...

This was back in 1996, so I would imagine the app's there have changed dramatically (& it was in 2006, she unfortunately had passed, after moving to an assisted living home in 2000...)

My uncle & aunt in Orinda had a '70's copper Westinghouse double-wall oven electric, S/S Modern Maid 5 Burner cooktop, newer almond Amana top freezer fridge, newer InSinkErator almond dishwasher, Litton microwave, GE washer & newer Amana electric dryer, both in white and a white Sears Kenmore trash compactor & white Coldspot Frostless upright freezer...

Yes.  Gansky briefly had one of these--I don't think he kept it.  This is the BOL model.  The other model had a little red rectangular light on the left side of the panel with a little red horizontal moving toggle switch that turned the water heat boost feature on or off.  I've never seen one of these with a custom panl, looks pretty nice.  This looks like it's probably a 1963 or so model, toward the last of the series before they went with the drop down door opening and wash arm dishwasher design.

OMG - the inside racking looks very similar to the Monkey Wards dishwasher I got at the Hansen's a couple of weeks ago.  What a beauty this one is, wood panels and all!!

I have one of these...

I happen to have one of these hiding in storage at my parents house, it was a trash find. whoever had it apparently installed it and then never used it, when I got it all the cardboard was still inside and the books were in the bottom. I have never fired it up, just dont have the space here
