ISS HD Cameras

Here's a live feed from four recently installed HD cameras onboard the International Space Station. If the video feed is dark, it's because the station is passing through Earth's shadow, and if it's gray they're manually switching between cameras. The first takes about 45 minutes and the other a few seconds.

Some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises I've ever seen. Be sure it's set to best quality and full-screen.

Thanks! I could just watch this for hours - now I know why I need to buy a big screen and projector...120" across, and sit back and put some music on.

The mission.... to test cameras exposed to space radiation, but to see the earth ...how long was this up on nasa.gov's website?

The posting date of this video feed is 4/30/14, the mission itself was launched in March and is due to run until October 2015.

Breathtaking images. I was able to view it when the ISS was over Russia but when it overflew China even in daylight the image went black for quite some time. The frames kept updating so I knew the camera was working. Are we blocking out the view of China from the ISS?

Excellent website(s). I had to go to isstracker.com at first, to see if the space station was in darkness or light.

Some great video captures are starting to roll in. Rarely you can still catch these sunsets and sunrises, although they said they're trying to limit direct sun exposure on the cameras.
