I am gitty with joy. I just got done raking up an endless supply of brown and red leaves and pine needles to reveal a green lawn and now its white.
Time to build a snowman?

It's getting cooler down in Texas too in the morning...FINALLY! But my window A/C (yes, it's a Haier, no, I didn't buy it) down in the shed doesn't have heat...so I'm still looking at a way to deal with *that* problem! And they don't make reverse-cycle 5,000 BTU A/C's either...

Since the laundry room is going to be closed off from the rest, I do have a small heater I can use down there if I want to wash on cold days...and of course the steam from the future hot-water...

Overhere it's way warmer than normally at this time of the year. We should be getting our winter coats out of the closet, but everybody is walking in t-shirts etc. outside. Forecast is that it is going to be around 70F here today. Normally it should be like 50 or so. Strange to see autumn leaves color and fall and walking outside in summer clothes.

And here in Tucson, up to the 80's during the day and down to the 50's at night....perfect weather.....wish it could be like this year round....not using heat at night yet but do put cooler on a bit during the day

We are warming up for summer. Today was a "cool snap", we were grumbling about the cold, a month ago we would have loved it to be this warm. Next couple of days we are expecting mid twenties (Celsius). Tuesday is Melbourne Cup day, I'm told it's the only place in the world that has a public holiday for a horse race. Expected top in Mebourne is 28 degrees C. Bring it on.

Chris.

Just a beautiful weekend here. Temps in the mid and upper 60's (18 c) with overnight lows in the 30's couldn't ask for better, more comfortable weather. It was very windy so the leaves were blowing off the trees and making huge swirls of yellow and red leaves, it was great fun to watch. I just love October, its one of favorites.

F to C is easy

0 F = -18C
32 F = 0C
50 F = 10C
72 F = 21C
86 F = 30C
