Instant Brands, the current owner of the trademark, seems to be trying to wipe CorningWare Pyroceram as well as Visions cookware from the American culinary psyche, even while both are still going strong in Europe and the Asia Pacific market.

It’s a shame they’re using the Corningware name on this new

Cookware.

It will work better for stovetop use than Corningware but it’s useless for microwave and induction of course.

The cost is fairly steep and you have to wonder how durable it is I assume it’s dishwasher proof of Course.

One of the things I liked about old Corningware is when it got really dirty I just run it through the self cleaning oven when the oven is being cleaned I doubt if that’s recommended for this new stuff.
