George Harrison / My Sweet Lord
That was a big mess that didn't need to happen. The small record label that owned the rights to "He's So Fine" didn't want to go to court. They had reached an agreement with Harrison to sell the label's entire catalog to him for a reasonable price, which would have fixed the problem since Harrison would then own the copyright to "He's So Fine". Unfortunately, Harrison tasked his manager to work out the details, and the manager jacked the record company around and pissed them off. That's when they decided to sue.
