It's that time of year again!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

We're having quite the snowstorm here in southern Minnesota, and I'm guessing people when I can venture out of the house tomorrow morning, I'll see some cars in the ditches around here, too.

Off topic, but since you're here: How are you liking the LG now that you've had it for awhile?

Proving once again that the weather and climate reign supereme.

Saw a typical testosterone-case weaving, trying to get around vehicles and in general being an @$$. Does the morning's rush-hour commute in bad weather not apply to you, sir?

Baby-boy you have no traction between the ice, the snow, the rain, and the fallen leaves, ant to-boot there is traffic everywhere.

But you are special, chosen; the abosolute center of the universe and are above all other limiting physical road contitions. Yes by all means, you first. No waiting or being stuck in traffic as the rest of us mere mortals are cursed to endure.....

*LOL* You just have to wonder, even in this age of instant gratification, why it is to difficult to wait at a ("long")traffic light without inching forward or dealing with traffic in general due to clogged roads.

The most valuable thing put into a vehicle is life. Life needs to be revered.

It's Pathetic Around Here

We had sub-freezing temps overnight from Monday into Tuesday, and some late rain and even snow on Monday night. It was pandemonium around here on the roads because nobody knew how to behave with black ice and snow. They were even de-icing planes yesterday morning at SJC and SFO. Oakland airport doesn't even have de-icing equipment, so there were lots of delays.

The impatiens are all wilted. Winter is here. We were all glad to see this cold snap nonsense move eastward where you all can take it in stride.

In Central Arkansas...

... we can figure for every inch of snow we get, we'll be home for a day. The last time it snowed/iced 3 inches we were home for 3 days and were considered "brave" to venture out on the 4th.

Then again, Little Rock "proper" doesn't own snow removal equipment or road salting equipment. Only the State Highway Department. So, when you're crawling down the interstate and you hit the exit ramp, hang on, it will still be a solid sheet of ice/snow!

It's real fun around here and if you want something even "funner" head to the part of the state that has them thar hills in it! It's a sledder's heaven!
