...and certainly rare in Australia - A Model 1, Sunbeam Mixmaster.
She was bought around 1936 by my aunts mother (ok, my aunts father and my grandmother were cousins on their mothers sides) and subsequently ended up in a box in a relatives garage after my aunt passed away in 2001. After a garage clean-up, I got a phone call offering it to me. I knew that there had been an old Mixmaster in my Aunts kitchen cupboards as I had seen the bowl before, but had no idea that it was quite this old.
Anyway, the large bowl, juicer, juicer spout and 2 unmangled beaters are with her....the cord needs to be replaced (melted) and the stand has a slight buckle in it that I'll have to try and get sorted......I can feel a full restoration coming on.
