I'm SO pouting right now I wish I could have gone. Looks like everyone had a great time! Beautiful machines too. Hopefully someday I'll get to see them in person.
Kevin wasn't the only one to prowl about with a camera...
The GE's and the 1-18's started their journey to their new, loving home in Nevada. I, along with the wife Jacqui, started out with Jeri loaded down not only with machines but other surprises...
The first leg of the trip went to The Bay Area to overnite at the parent's house... Long trip. We stopped at this wonderfull little family restaurant... WWWHHHOOOPPPSSS! WHERE did THAT picture come from?!?!?
TRAFFIC?!?!? Here I am, with Jacqui and Jeri in this mess! All I could think of was a quote from the Indiana Jones movies: "My boy, we are pilgrims in an unholy land..." LOL!
We arrived safe and sound... and JUST a little frazzled!
The room at the Ritz Kevin was excellent. We loved staying in the Bamboo Room. Caught a little Thai food and got to bed decently as we were going to be busy the next day. Morning came and off to getting things going. There was a little bit of re-arranging to do...
After a bit of elbow grease, it came together. Re-arranged things and unloaded Jeri. We presented Kevin with the three GE's and the 1-18's plus a load of spare parts, replacement console for the H/G A806 and his own official Maytag Tool Roll. Christmas came early!
We made room for the 1-18's and the GE's on the ready line. After all, I was pretty sure they would be popular. Here's our host busy at work hooking up the new toys...
It didn't take long for the Wash-In to begin... Brad showed up early and volunteered to help finish the setting up. THANK YOU BRAD (aka Bradross)!!! The guests began to arrive...
The washers were a big hit. There was lots of laundry being done and even more ooohhh's and aahhhh's over the 1-18 and GE's. I am glad that Kevin likes his new additions!
