Since he had so much fun with the Westie, He then turned his sights on the poor, defenseless Frigidaire 1-18! I even asked him "Are you going to give that 1-18 the same treatment?" to which he gives me this innocent look and says "Of course not..." Uh Huh... I've heard that answer from my own kids enough to know better. Oh well, it's all fun!

At the end of the day, it was a pity it had to end!

A big, gigantic thank you to Kevin for hosting this event and inviting my wife and I to attend! I have always wanted to meet other members and put a face with a name with a screen name. I met so many wonderful people and it will be a memory to treasure. At some point, I'll have to do the same with our other members back East and points inbetween. THANK YOU, KEVIN!

That's so cool that with all those suds it didn't suds lock! Well I'm making it a point to make it to the next one! Great pics and video's guys!

Andy....the turqouise Kenmore set in the above pics are NOT

They are a 1963 Kenmore Model 70 washer and matching Soft Heat Dryer. My mother got this set in white as a newlywed in 1963. The only difference between her washer and this one was the fact that my mom's had the last of the pregnant Roto Swirls in it not a skinny ribbed one like what is in Kevin's machine.....PAT COFFEY

Oh Kevin those pictures are just wonderful, I had no idea you had such a large collection! Amazing machines. I so wish Fred and I could have been there to join in with all the festivities.

I'm going to move this thread to the Imperial Forum so it gets archived properly, we don't want to lose these great pictures of everyone.

WOW!! Looks like great fun! Wish I could have been there too!

Nice to see the faces with the names, and of course, it's always fun to see your collection Kevin.

Thanks for the cool pixs!

Excellent afternoon and evening!

Thank you, Kevin, for being such a gracious host. We all had a wonderful time. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. And many thanks to you and Andy for taking and posting the pictures.

Wish I could have been there!

Looks like it was a lot of fun!! Thanks for sharing all the pictures with us! It must have been a lot of work, but wow, did the collection ever look good. Great job, Kevin!!

Can't get over the fabulous remodeling job Drew & you di

And it wasn't till way late in the pix when I discovered that your studio is partly--mainly!-- open to the California Air & Sun.

HOLY CHRIST--YOU HAVE WASHROOM PARADISE!!!!

Love the three iterations of the Surgilator flanked by the KM & GE-MB siblings on the agitator table.

I had NO IDEA that SO MANY people were coming. Amazing. Good for you and good for them.

Is the Easy delighted or annoyed that you used her only for beer. :-D She's one of the real classics, in terms of year made and model (the curving water-retaining rim); so glad you have her.

"Lots of food, discussions and happiness... " I'll say! AND WASHERS!!! And such wonderful people. I would have paid to have been there.

Will be revisiting this gorgeous album many times in the coming days, finding more cool stuff to yak about.

Thank you, Kevin and Andrew, for this treasure.

Paul, you were there in a way. The laptop I had set up for the Wash-In was playing Youtube vids including YOUR video of the evolution of the turq kitchen. It was quite the hit!

WOW!!!

That was one heck of a party! I sure hope I get to see the next one. Those are pretty much all of my favorite machines packed under one roof. I'd have a hard time sleeping at night after seeing those in person! Matthew's lucky I wasn't there or I'd have been obstructing his view of the GE's!

Really a fantastic set of pics and videos. Keep me posted for the next one!

I'm really sorry I had to miss this one. Usually I don't need any excuse to bop down to greater L.A. but I'm currently on care-giver duty for my partner until he's able to get around on his own again.

It looks like it was a huge success and *loads* of fun. Was this the first ever wash-in to go international?

Washin!

I wish I could have been their. Such great appliances. Also I wish I knew more of you guys on the west coast. Hopefully one day. I an Happy U all had such a great time :)
Best Wishes,
Peter
