Looks like a rebadged Sanyo. I remember seeing these in the JCPenny catalog.
I wish they made a full size version of this machine. I love the 3 cycle knob.
Down side there is no spin between the wash and rinse.

Hitachi 21 inch portable washer
These were made in Japan, and mostly sold under the GE and Hotpoint names,
They were average performers tend to tangle and not clean evenly.
They were reasonably durable, however started selling them in the 70s then quit by the mid 80s.

There was a cute matching JCP small dryer as well which didn't sell.
