No takers on the Ebay Pink Frigidaire's?
No one interested in this 1965 Frigidaire set on Ebay? They look to be in really good shape and are fully functional.
BTW, On the washer--what is that knob for directly below the main control panel on the right? Why did they put it there instead of on the actual control panel itself.

they are white, not pink
This set is being offered by club member Christfr in St Louis. See thread # 1426. The knob under the control dial was the timer knob that turned a pointer on the control dial. Just some 1960's design dazzle. I don't think this was a rapid dry model.
I had a very similar model in Coppertone for many years in the late 70's, early 80's. When the machine broke down at 19 years old, my wife (now ex) insisted we buy a brand new matched set. She didn't share my enthusiasm for doing the baby's diapers in a vintage machine. The repairman I called to save my beloved washer was of no help..."It's older than five years old, I can't fix it." If only I knew then what I know now.
