Jupiter Jack (FM modulator???)

Does anyone have one of these? In case you don't know what it is, it plugs into the headphone socket of your cell phone. Then, you set your FM radio to 99.3, and your cell plays through the radio speakers.

So, I got to thinking... if I plugged the jack into my portable CD player(or even an Ipod), would it also play through the radio on 99.3FM? I'd be interested to see if anyone has one of these units, and to see if I've supposed correctly! If I have, this would be great for me to use on the bus!

I don't see why it would not work with any audio device with a headphone jack.

I have a device to play a CD or cassette player through the radio. Just plug it into the device, tune the device and the radio station to the same frequency, and there you go! Years ago I had a similiar one that plugged into the cigarette lighter and did the same thing. It should work!!
