OKAY - so I have been sculking around for over a year now and have seen many wonderful collections growing and being established. Like most, before I found the site I thought I was the only one. What a surprise for me!

What a wonderful group who seem to truly care, support, and accept each other. OK so it got a little ugly during the presidential campaign, but what didn't!

Don't have much of a collection yet. Mostly a bunch of orbitals that we have obtained for rental property that we own. I have a new Alliance Speed Queen that I do like very much. Pretty good considering what other crap is out there. Also, have a Neptune purchased in 2000 (I know I am supposed to know model numbers, but I don't) and I actually do love it. It has had two mother boards replace and the dreaded latch. ALL of which covered by Maytag when it was still Maytag including labor. OH and I was one of those people who naively bought some NorgeTags that have litterly died in 12 to 18 months.

Anyway - Robert - Thanks for a great site! Also, Thanks for not shutting down after finding the Apex. To everyone - your collections are wonderful and your hard work is appreciated.

PS...Now there is another one of "us" bidding on machines you want.

Dblrinz, i think may were taken by surprise, with the amanatag, norgetag debacle. When Maytag jumped into all the stuff they "got involved in" dixie narco (vending macines) and commerical cooking equipment the jig was up, no focus on the Tags that brought them to fame. I know some call it marketing, to me it was fraud. IN the end whirlpool "saved" the name, could of been worse. Hoover is "tatronic" (sp) at least maytags nameplate stayed in america. Poor hoover sold to the wolves in china or japan. I wonder if the big minds even understand,"it beats, as it sweeps, as it cleans'
