Just Exactly Where Did GE Use This?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

If I were to guess I'd say on a blender, but the seller seems to think it was used on a range. It certainly is a colorful array of buttons. Notice the Bakelite switch body is identical to those used on Maytag's TOL dryers back in the 60's and 70's. Those switches were made by GE as well.

I agree. AFAIK, GE never had a range burner with more than 6 push-button settings. The colors lead me to think small appliance. Pity the seller wants so much for this part; I'd love to have the switch and all the colored plastic buttons. It's also possible that, although this is a labeled GE part, it was meant for a Hotpoint( or some other brand, as pointed out) appliance. Some of their stuff was very colorful.

Blender seems correct...

I forget the brand (hamilton beach??), but 20 odd years ago I had a blender with quite similar party colors on the buttons...There were some Coolerator ranges which had this style, too...but I doubt this is for one of those.
