Hello,

Thought I would let you see what a day looks like around this place.

A hoard of washers came in over the weekend, 2 on Sunday.

I thought I would also mention briefly what was done, the bill, and welcome your comments, on what you think about any of it.

Thanks All,
LaVida Boem

A Whirlpool no spin, do drain, cold water baby. Showed the signs of Neglect.
Also found the neutral drain shot...
A Lid Switch, neutral drain kit, complete tear down clean out, cabinet wash.

Total Bill $ 122.00
PS: I was able to come back later with varsol to remove the yellow glue...wouldn't touch it.
Went for the laquer thinner...did the trick, then more comet, then wax.

Leaning tub Syndrome...

Hello,

Thanks Gansky, you're right...nothing like the perils of cold "hard" water...

I don't know why I didn't say something when I posted; this one doesn't have the lean...

I had just finished, and overfilled w/hot water and bleach/tide, and had pushed the tub over to see if I had any leaks at the tub top (white plastic in pictures) seal. And I had left it that way thru lunch, came out and snapped the last pic...

But, they do have a lean...if the spring in the first pic that you see at the bottom left, (facing machine) Rear, from the tub frame to the back panel, is broken, gone, unhooked, or worn a hole in its mounting, it sure will cause the tub to lean back and be way off.

Hope this Helps,
Eddy
