That's about a 1953 Tappan. I sold one last year and have one in my warehouse. It needs the valves greased as they leak. Otherwise it is not bad.

My parents had the gas range like this installed new in our new home in 1948. One big heavy range the bottom plate weighed about 50 pounds was like one of my grandmothers Maytag. Mother would start a roast then midway through would cut off the oven the remaining heat would finish the roast. They remodeled in 1964 and put in new Flair range.

In answer to your question about the 3 steel drawers, I believe they are crispers. That's what they were on my great aunt Frances' gas doughboy. To keep cereal and crackers and such in. I guess they keep them warm and dry. Her oven was also chrome rather than porcelain and had a pilot. One classy stove.
