I should have gotten a Miele, we had one in the Calgary house for years and no problems. There is no longer a Miele dealer here but seeing as the repair guys all come from 60 mi away I guess that doesnt make much difference anyways. I have 4 years left on this extended warranty , which has now paid for itself. Still in all with the aggravation it may end up at the curb next time it fails, regardless.
Time for an update
And the reason being that the control board is now failing again since the previous episode 4 years ago.. I think my extended warranty has ran out.. I'll double check though... Last week I had a problem trying to start the machine, it worked a few time over the past week,, then again today the buttons wouldn't light up but I could hear it clicking,, then they lit up and all was fine.. I got a load done..
