KA Dishwasher Top Rack

This looks like a rack for an older model but he/she says it's new. Wasn't someone looking for one of these?

Well, my Superba 21 could use a new set of racks - esp the top rack. I'll have to check and see if the one on eBay would be right dimensions. The one in the photo, though, looks like it's fixed height. The one in my 21 has height adjusters. Don't know if these can be grafted on or not.

Looks to me like that "lower rack" is actually another upper rack, for say a 21, 22, or 23 series KA.

Well, upon closer inspection, that upper rack looks like it would fit my KDS-17A, but... the existing top rack is in great condition, so I don't need it.

There is no wash arm or provision for one, so I don't think this top rack would fit the 21, or other KA dishwasher with upper spray arms.

Can't tell what is up with that supposed lower rack, although I agree, the high mounted side rails make me think "upper rack".

Rich, if you will go to the KA website and download the owner manual in the customer service area for Mike Parquette's new KUDP22, you will see the front and bacfk ends of hte top rack resemble the shape of this second supposed "lower" rack. That is what gave me the first clue in the first place that it wasn't a lower rac.

All three pics are of a KA upper rack,non-adjustable for the KDC-17 and 17A,would only work in the 15 thru 17 series.
