This is made by Kaiser Aluminum. It used no electricity. It used the non-alkaline detergent CHAT so that the machine would not be eaten alive by the detergent. The spinning racks and spray tubes are not included. When the cycle was finished, the top opened and the spinning racks swirled the dishes dry.
I only saw one Kaiser dishwasher, and that was at University Hospital, where I worked in 1985. It was upstairs from our office, on a floor that had been abandoned sometime in the 50's, and used only for storage while I was there. It was in a countertop, with a stainless steel sink. I wondered what it was, so oped it, and saw a rack. They didn't prepare food in that building, so it must have been used to clean medical supplies, before they were put into the autoclave.
