I haven't made a posting in a long time but wanted to thank whoever it was that put the recipe for kapusta on here. The video was excellent....thanks again.

I made it this past Sunday.
It turned out excellent.
I don't have a roaster but used a crock pot instead.

I was actually surprised that the cabbage didn't turn to mush after cooking for so long....but....it didn't.
I'm cooking for just one and this recipe made a ton so I might just take 1/2 of it and add some boiled noodles to it for a more "stick to the ribs" meal and use the other 1/2 as a side dish with potatoes.
 
I have found that if freezes very well, too. So if you don't think you can eat it all within a few days, just pop it in the freezer for that next time you have a taste for it.
