They did not have a text article of this story, but just the video link, which will play in your Windows Media Player. In case of a broken link, then visit the KCRG.com site and look for the "Places You Can't Go" link. If only they could do a similar clip of the insides of different washing machines in a laundromat or your next "Wash-In" event...! *grins*--Laundry Shark

At the AMF warehouse here in town, they have a complete pinsetting machine sitting in their lobby. It's not powered up, but I stood there and admired the machine for quite a while when I was there on an audiovisual service call. Too bad they couldn't get a wide-angle shot. I imagine it's pretty tight behind the lanes though. I think it's pretty amazing how those things work, and the ingenuity that go into them. Neat video posting!

Quite the Wild Bowling Story There!

I myself am not willing to go clear to Antartica to bowl, but if you happen to live there, you make due with the cards you are dealt. Thanks for sharing that article.--Laundry Shark

My first job in '75 was as a service boy at the new bowling center in town, working with the pinsetters clearing jams, etc. There was alot of room behind the machines, but it was really noisy when you have 32 pinsetters all being used at the same time. Most fun job I've ever had...
