KDI-16 timer needed

In early January, I posted(along with pictures)my concern about my KDI-16 by Hobart dishwasher flooding during its cycle. Many people responded with advice. Since then I had a repairman come out who confirmed that the timer is bad...I have searched for a replacement timer (including calling Larry at the Modern Parts House in Ohio), but have had no success locating a replacement timer....My dishwasher has a soak cycle.

Revisiting this site (and going back a few years), I did a search and found that a number of people have had/or may currently have the timer that I need.,,,

Specifically, I note that Stevet, Combo52, rollermatic, danemodsandy and swestoyz seem to have incredible knowledge and respect for this machine. Do any of you have any access to the right timer for this machine? It is in great shape otherwise...

Is that the right part number for KDI-16 timer?

Thank you so much QSD-Dan! That looks like the right part but I am a bit concerned.
I had noted that the KDI-16 with soak cycle timer is Part # 4170701. I then have in my notes the "sub" # is 4160484. And I am assuming that the parts for ultimately sold under the Whirlpool number rather than the Kitchen-Aid/Hobart name?

i would love it if any one of you KDI-16 fans out there could confirm the above. I would love to get this barely used dishwasher humming (and not flooding), again!

Whirlpool owns K/A, so parts will have a Whirlpool part #.

Stop right there, guys!!! Not quite a KDI-16 timer but...

Ralph, Great find nonetheless! I think you have stumbled on to a nice KDS 14 timer. I dont have the parts manual for it but that timer was the first rapid advance timer KA used and it has the lever that would reset it when the door was unlatched.
I am sure that someone here can confirm the part number and it is a timer worth having for the future.

still looking for the KDI-16 timer

I just called the Modern parts appliance place in Ohio and they confirmed that the part number 4160484 is for the timer for the KDS-16 not the KDI-16.

Apparently, I need part number 4169502 or 4160737 for the KD(Imperial)-16 with soak cycle.

This is tough....
