Power Up!
Power is connected on the right hand side of the bottom cross member just below the tank. Look for the single black and white wires that are usually tied in a small knot. Those are your power wires. Make sure that you connect the black wire to the hot wire and the white wire to the neutral supply wire. Don't forget to connect the grounding wire to the frame of the machine as well.
They probably lost the small cover that protected your wire connections there. If the pump and strainer screens are in good condition, then you should be happy with the machine's performance.
Every on on here will tell you that the single rinse after the wash cycle is the biggest downfall but the machine does do some purges between the segments so that helps.
The machine as pictured would have been considered a KDI21-D as it has the more deluxe adjustable top rack from the TOL Superba series with the adjustable flex-o-dividers and the the adjustable height rack. More detailed pictures of the sump area and the wash arm support with the wash arm removed will help us determine if they are in good condition.
Keep us posted and feel free to ask any questions you may have. You can probably download the owners and service manuals here in the Ephemera section found at the top of the page.
Good luck with your new find.
