I recently acquired a KDS17A Kitchenaid Supurbera dishwasher. Somehow in transport, the wire that is riveted onto the plastic piece connected to the heat/fan blower, broke off. There's no way to reconnect it to the rivet & soldering doesn't appear to be an option as the rivet is embedded onto plastic. There is thin red coiled wire next to the wire connections & the thin red wire is connected to the rivet. Based on the schematic, this looks to be the safety mechanism in case the heater overheats. How do I fix this?

Broken terminal on the dry blower motor on a KA DW

You can try reconnecting the tiny thin wire to the terminal [ small nut and bolt as Glenn suggested ]

Or just replace the blower motor, these are a dime a dozen on E Bay etc, This is not part of the thermal cut-off for the heater.
