KDS 17a versus an KDS 18

Hey all,

Looking to know if there is a big difference between a KDS 17a KDS 18?

Hey Dan!!

So could one change out an upper wash rack from a 18-20? If I’m not mistaken, everything before the 20 doesn’t have the water heating element? I found a minty 15 and really trying to figure out the big differences between what I currently have (KDS 15 and 20) and if I need the 17a…?

No chance of changing the upper rack or adding the water delivery tubes to the upper rack that I know of.

 

17A is like an updated 15 with more options. Both rely on the lower wash arm to serve both racks.

Ahh okay. So no need for a 17a with a 15. Will continue the search for the 18! Too bad one can’t engineer an interchangeable wash arm for these beasts!
