KDS-18 Water Inlet Valve

Hello,

Is the water inlet valve for a KDS–21 compatible with a KDS-18? My KDS-18 inlet valve is leaking. I have a inlet valve from a kds-21 but it only has two terminals compared to the four on the 18.

Of the 4 wires that go to the inlet valve, there’s a white wire that connects to what appears to be a thermostat and a black wire that goes to the float switch.

The One Coil Valve Replaces The Dual Coil Valve

Just tape up two extra [ one white and one black ] wires [ separately of course ] otherwise install the valve like the old one.
