My Kitchenaid KDS-20 Dishwasher finally stopped working. I believe the 1/2 hp motor underneath has gone out. It goes through the cycle to pull water in, but never washes or circulates the water around. It makes clicking nosies and goes through processes but does not wash them. Recently it was making a different noise than usual, sounded like maybe the bearing was going bad. Now the motor does not work. I have pulled the washer but dont know how to remove the motor. Does anyone have any step by step procedures? Looks like you have to work inside the basin and from the bottom. I was fortunate to find another KDS series last summer for free and we changed the front panel to black and replaced the racks inside. I would love to get this going again as we all know the new dishwashers are all cheaply built. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know personally, but you might buy the service manual from automatic ephemra. That may help.
