Wow! One of the first direct drive machines and looks to be in good shape. The serial number would tell the exact year made but this model was originally introduced in 1981.
My late neighbor Thelma had a washer like this, and the matching dryer, both in the Toast color. These replaced the GE Versatronic set.

My sister had this model in her guest house. I'm not sure of the year, but it had the center dial, and neutral drain method of emptying out the water.
Have seen a couple of early DD 24" washers for sale recently, they always intrigued me. I worked at Sears when they were brought out. Some of the sales guys in white goods were skeptical, having spent most of the careers selling the belt drive.
