I found some Copper kenmore 700s within a days drive. This had me realizing I don’t know how these levels differed (700 vs 800 vs Lady Kenmore)? Would a 700 dryer have the fabric scent liquid bottle? Was that just a LK thing? How else were they different?

00 models typically have programmed timers that set the wash/rinse temperature and wash time via matching letters on the dial to an alphabetic cycle legend on the console.  A secondary switch usually is provided with choices of Auto, Cold Rinse, and Cold Wash (& rinse) to override the temp programming, although the pictured 700 doesn't have one.  The LK (and some 900 and possibly a few 800) models have pushbutton/locking timers.  70 and 60 don't have programmed timers.

ETA:  Someone shared in Shoppers Square what appears to be this sale.  The dryer is newer than the washer and I believe doesn't have the air freshener feature.

This model pictured here was the third Kenmore of my youth.
1) 1950 Kenmore (non-suds-saver)
2) 1962 Kenmore suds-saver worked for almost a year after a basement flood in July, 1967. Ground to a halt in July, 1968.
3) The model pictured here was shown in a later 1966 Sears Catalog. Our was purchased at the old Sears in Highland Park, Michigan around August, 1968. It was indeed a suds-saver in white. The dial lit up as did the reddish/orange "filter" light during agitation. Smooth running machine with the same skinny roto-swirl agitator.
Great to see this machine again. I hope we can see pics after your restoration.
Memories!!!

Late 60s Kenmore washer and dryer in Coppertone

I can’t quite see the dial closely enough to see if it has the word suds on it, this machine could have a suds saver, one can be added, as well with just the addition of a few parts.

Whirlpool had by far the best Coppertone, color of any of the shaded, browns the dark and light parts of it blended together and gave them much warmer more attractive look than most of the other brands that did the shaded brown,

John
