Help Support :

Oh, my

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, now the eyesight has gone, too. Sorry, but it sure looked green on my screen, but upon further examination, I realized that I was wrong. I guess its time to get that stick and the seeing eye dog! Fortunately, I can still feel the knobs on the control panel! Todd

Come home, 800!

Ship it to me, man. I sent u an email so let's talk.

Thanks i70sn80s guy and EVERYONE on the club. It wouldn't have been possible without you guys.

Big Find

Jason, this is wonderful news, you found your dream machine. This couldn't be better news, one of the better finds this year!

congrats jason

You have waited quite a while and now the dream finally comes true.Jason..PLEASE get a video sometime of the machine in action, would really love to see more KM/WP vids of these classics.

God Bless
Pat

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to be able to see and hear the old belt-drive kenmore again. I've waited 21 years to get my Kenmore 800 back and the time finally has come.

There will be a DVD production of the machine, including the infamous perm press cooldown/agitation that got me in trouble so long ago.

Installation

I'm gonna put it where the lil Lady is sitting right now and move Lady somewhere else, she is portable and can hookup anywhere. The 800 is not. I'll split off the water mains and swap the drain hose when I want to use the 800 or the Frigemore

more pics

I had fun today. Um, JasonL, I just like that detergent dispenser so much, I've decided to keep the 800. No, no, no, just joking. Its your baby, but the machines with those dispensers like this 800 or the recent find, the Lady K's, with their triple dispensers, oh and of yes those with sudsavers are so cool.

ewW, drain hose swapping. Ok if your used to it but, um, well take it from someone who has overlooked that a few times and well lets say I had a mess to clean up.

AWESOME!

That's exactly what I remember. I'm still working on the shipping part. I'm gonna call both of those places again tomorrow to see what I can do

Needs new drain hose? OK, I'll put that on this list.

How does the rest of it work?

First pics of working 800

This is the first pics of a running 800 ever in this club. Of course there will be lots more and a DVD when I'm done.

WOOHOO!

1971

This must be a later model 800 because there's a pushbutton lid switch instead of the mercury switch. It's gonna get the surgery anyway.
